The Pennsylvania Academy of Ministry will be conducting it’s Ecumenical & Interfaith Relations class  was rescheduled to Saturday, February 24, 2018 at First UCC in Schuylkill Haven from 9am to 4pm.  The Rev. Dr. Charles Maxfield, University professor having taught in the history departments of the State University of New York (Cortland), Broome Community College, DeSales University, and Eastern University. The Pennsylvania Academy of Ministry will be conducting it’s Church  Leadership class  is to Saturday, March 10, 2018 at First UCC in Schuylkill Haven from 9am to 4pm.  The Rev. Dr. M. Jane Hess is the Senior Pastor of Faith UCC Hazleton. With 32 years of experience in Leadership Training (including leading Interim Network Training and Conflict Resource Training) she comes to us with a passion for our UCC healthy systems policy, a strength in creative worship designing and a splash of Holy Fun. Zachman, Professor Emeritus of Reformation Studies at the University of Notre Dame, where he taught from 1991-2017, and is currently Adjunct Professor of Church History at Lancaster Theological Seminary.  He has published books on the theology of Luther and Calvin, and has also published articles and chapters on Schleiermacher, Kierkegaard, and Barth, among others.
